Summary
Seeking a CHEF for 35m tri deck motor yacht.
You must be Legally able to work in New Zealand and Australia to apply for this position, NZ or Aus citizen or Valid Workers rights.
Open to male or female candidates.
Valid STCW, Seafarers Medical and Food Hygiene Level2
Culinary trained minimum experience 2-3 years
Previous yachting experiences essential
Able to provision for extended periods in sometimes remote areas.
Ability for Menu planning for and discuss with Owners desires and to remain flexible.
Low waste attitude to expenditure.
Ability to work as a team with the rest of the long term crew as required.
Position will commence in January of 2025 in the Gold Coast, Australia and have the opportunity to do a handover with the current fulltime Chef.
Vessel runs with 6-7 Crew + sleeps 10 guests.
The boat is not usually at full capacity for guest trips, but there are also occasions for large parties and gatherings with guests staying at additional locations and parties for up to 50 hosted on the boat.
Dietary restrictions vary greatly among various friends and family. The owner has a diverse palate and appreciates a wide range of cuisine, with an emphasis on a low-sugar diet.
Boat will travel to Fiji in February/March, returning to Gold Coast after. Travel schedule for the remainder of 2025 TBD.
