The yacht owner is ideally seeking a candidate with experience in managing similarly demanding itineraries. This role is perfect for someone who can not only navigate the challenges of a busy schedule but also lead and nurture a cohesive, high-performing team.
Experience and attributes required:
Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Captain on a similar size yacht
Excellent navigational and passage planning skills
Exceptional crew management and interpersonal skills
Excellent leadership and motivational skills
Experience in navigating to remote locations with an adventurous mind-set
Organisation, forward thinking and communication skills are key
Professional presentation
Fluent English Written and Oral
Qualifications required:
Master 3000 minimum
STCW (fully updated) with PDSD
Seafarer's Medical Certificate (ENG1) valid for at least 6 months
Seaman's Discharge Book
Vaccination booklet including Yellow fever
Non-Smoker, No visible Tattoos
