Deckhand in Virgin Islands (British)

Summary

Temporary Deckhand needed for a 45-meter M/Y. Wonderful Captain and great crew. Ideal candidates will possess the following personal attributes: charismatic, professional, the ability to actively engage, and a forward thinker. The ideal candidate will also possess a pleasant and outgoing personality, a strong hospitality mentality, and will instill a culture of excellence and service amongst and between all crew members.

Winter 2024/25: Caribbean and South Florida

Start Date: January 6^th for approximately 1 – 2 weeks

Compensation Package: $150 per day (negotiable DOE)

Skills and Attributes Required:

·        Minimum 1 years’ experience as a Deckhand on 35+ meter M/Y

·        Watch keeping experience

·        Strong product and deck maintenance knowledge

·        Strong water sports knowledge

·        Safe and competent tender driver

·        Works well in a team environment

·        Professional presentation

Qualifications Required:

·        STCW with PDSD

·        PBL2

·        PWC

·        Seafarers Medical Certificate

·        Valid B1/B2 Visa
