Sole-Stewardess Job offer
We are a Privat 34m Explorer MY, with 5 crew, which is going around the world. We are looking for a mature Stewardess, with an explorer spirit. She must have minimum experience of 1 - 3 years as sole Stewardess, on the size of 30 - 40m yachts, and it must be sure that she/he gets not seasick, due to the fact, that we have some long legs between the normal Island hopping.
Our crew is from around the world, and everybody knows exactly, what he is capable and what he must do, there is no need to put his ego out. We are only 5 crew and all helping each other.
This is an owner live on-board yacht. They are very nice. From time to time, are guests on board, but not often.
We are looking for a positive person which has a can-do attitude, is self-motivated, with knowledge of all the areas which she/he must work in. This is a position where you have the whole responsibility, and work professionally.
We are now in the Seychelles, and we proceed further over, Madagascar to Reunion and South Africa, Cape town. From there we will decide in which direction we are going.

Job Description Sole Stewardess
· Responsible for the everyday smooth operation of the boat’s interior department, which means housekeeping services, laundry for Crew and Guests and wardrobe management, food and beverage service and cleanup, and entertaining (while maintaining high-energy, can-do attitude at all times)
· Providing professional services and overall guest and owners’ care.
· Protecting, maintaining, and caring for valuable interior items and surfaces, such as artwork, crystal, linens, fine woodwork, and marbles.
· Creating, implementing, and maintaining an informational management system of interior inventories and maintenance procedures.
· Receiving feedback and making improvements where necessary.
· Provisioning to maintain inventory supplies and cover guest and Crew usage.
· Provisioning of all beverages, Juices, soft drinks, water, beer, and all other wishes for drinks from the owner side and crew.
· Monitor the beverage stock, and keep a inventory.
· Collaborating with the executive chef regarding meal service for the guests.
· Keeping all interior storage areas organized, orderly, and maintained.
· Crew uniform purchasing and maintain Stock.
· Watchkeeping in accordance with the list of responsibilities in the crew mess.
· Exterior-crew support as needed (requiring proficiency with exterior lines and fenders)
· Prepare interior for going to sea. (Discuss the outside condition with the Captain)
· Regarding dishwashers in the Kitchen. There are two dishwashers, one for the Sole Stewardess and one for the Chef.
The Sole Stewardess is responsible for all dishes (owner, guests, crew). When there are guests, she has to work together with the Chef, she has to assist with help to store the dishes to the Chef dishwasher or into the Sole Stewardess dishwasher.
It must be teamwork between the Sole Stewardess and the Chef!!
· It is the work of the Sole Stewardess to sort the Glasses, cutlery and plates and bring them back to the place where they belong too.
