Are you a 1^st Mate with three years’ experience and interested in an epic itinerary?

Do you hold a minimum of a yachtmaster or master 5?

Position Snapshot

·        $5000-$6000 US / Month

·        Preference to Australia/ Nz / South African candidates

·        Good Bridge experience

An exciting opportunity has become available for a 1^st Mate with at least 3 years’ experience to join a World Travelling 28m Expedition yacht currently in Thailand.

The vessel is private/charter but will mostly be used privately in the immediate future with the owner.

Bridge OOW time & Tender driving experience is essential, with time on longer Offshore passages

After Thailand, the vessel will head to the Maldives followed by Europe

The Ideal Candidate

·        STCW & Seafarer medical

·        3 years Deck/Mate experience on yachts

·        Yachtmaster or Master 5

·        Good Bridge / OOW skills

·        Can act as a backup to captain

·        Tender driving experience

·        Keen for sea miles.

·        Interest in watersports (fishing)

·        Can offer a firm commitment to a travelling program
