CAPTAIN REQUIRED FOR A 24M CHARTER YACHT
VERPEKA DOLLING recruitment is currently seeking a Captain for a 24m charter yacht.
START DATE – 01 February 2025
ITINERARY – Mediterranean
POSITION OVERVIEW –The yacht is based in her year round berth in Monaco with plans to charter in the East Mediterranean during the summer season. The vessel is also used privately by the owners outside of the high charter season period.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Safely operate and navigate the yacht, ensuring the well-being of guests and crew.
Oversee all aspects of the yacht\'s operations, including navigation, safety protocols, and maintenance.
Provide exceptional service to owner and charter guests alike.
Manage the yacht\'s itinerary, including planning and executing charters during the summer.
Maintain compliance with all relevant maritime regulations and safety standards.
Foster a positive and collaborative working environment among the crew.
REQUIREMENTS
Proven experience as a Captain on a similar-sized charter yacht.
Valid MCA Master <200GT certification, ideally with GMDSS.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to manage the yacht\'s schedule and adapt to changing itineraries.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Good engineering/technical background.
