Yacht: 45 - 50m Motor - Expedition - NEW build - Private and building charter program

Itinerary: 2 years - Alaska/Mexico, Costa Rica, US West Coast - eventually world travel
License Required: Master 500 GT+ - USCG
Requirements:
- Captain experience on similar sized vessels - Strong Charter experience.
- Longevity and Positive References are extremely important. An outgoing personality, safety top priority. Active, happy disposition, motivator.
- Good with busy charter schedule that he/she creates, encourages, and maintains.
- Good with maintaining longevity in crew and within budget.
- Good with yard relations, class relations, and safety
Knowledge of submersibles, heli-ops, adventurous. Strong sea legs.

PASSPORT valid for minimum 1 year - US Flagged vessel
ENG1 or current fit for duty marine medical (valid for 6 months) - unrestricted
Other: Launch planned Q4 2025, approximately 12 weeks per year owner’s use and remaining time for charter use and maintenance. (Captain will help to build a charter program).
An experience yacht owner - Sailor and 2 explorers prior.
We are looking to hire a Captain in the next 3 months, this is for the purpose of seeing the yacht in final phases of construction, obtaining crew, developing safety protocols and class required plans and documents. Until launch captain will need their own accommodations or we are open to help in renting a house near the shipyard for all crew prior to launch.
