A luxury private villa located near Mougins village is seeking an experienced housekeeper to join a well-established and happy interior team of 5. The villa owners reside in the property for approximately 5 months of the year. During their stay, the housekeeper will be required to work 5 days a week, alternating between early and occasional late shifts.
- Key ResponsibilitiesPerform hands-on cleaning and general housekeeping duties with a high level of attention to detail.
- Maintain and care for luxury items, including wardrobe management.
- Ensure 5-star housekeeping standards are upheld throughout the villa.
- Manage laundry services, including proper handling of delicate fabrics and high-end garments.
- Collaborate and work well within a team of other housekeeping staff members.
- Adapt to a rotating shift schedule (early and occasional late shifts) when employers are in residence.
- RequirementsProven track record of at least several years in a similar role, preferably within a high-end or luxury environment.
- Fluency in English and French is essential. Knowledge of Tagalog is an advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Knowledge and experience in the care and handling of luxury items, fabrics, and wardrobes.
- Ability to work well in a team setting, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Flexible with working hours and schedule changes.
- Must have own transport, but the property is also accessible via a nearby bus route.
- Must hold an EU passport or have a French carte de séjour.
- Working Hours 5 days per week when the owners are in residence.
- Rotating shifts: early shift and occasional late shift during the employer’s stay.
