Electrical Technical Officer (ETO)

Summary

This private, dual season MY is now looking for a versatile ETO to join their team at the end of April/beginning of May.

Ideally, candidates should have an engineering background and be willing to help out in this department if needed.

Candidates must be highly experienced in AVIT and bridge systems, and have solid training and certification in all general electrical components.

Systems on board include Lutron, Crestron and Starlink.

English as a first language or fluent is essential, as is a B1B2 in hand.

There is a great crew on board, with a strong emphasis on crew moral and longevity.

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)
• Drivers License

Specialised Audio-Visual Courses

• Audio Visual/ IT Course
• Television Receive-Only/ Audio Visual (TVRO & AV) Course

Specialised IT/Networking Courses

• Information Technology (IT) Diploma/Course

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• MCA Approved Engine Course (AEC 1 & 2) Certificate
