Summary
We are looking for a professional and experienced Captain to take command of an 80ft Azimut, a family-owned charter yacht. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, excellent yacht handling experience, and a proven ability to work in the charter industry.
Position Details:
- Vessel: 80 feet Azimut (Charter Yacht)
- Crew: 3 (Captain, Cook/Stew, Mate)
- Ownership: Privately owned by a seasoned yacht owner
- Program: Charter operations
- Start Date: In 2-3 weeks
- Salary: Dependent on experience (DOE)
Key Responsibilities:
- Navigate and manage the yacht throughout planned voyages, ensuring the highest safety and operational standards.
- Oversee the maintenance schedule, safety procedures, and budgeting to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Work closely with the Cook/Stew and Mate to deliver an exceptional experience for charter guests.
- Maintain a positive, professional, and motivated crew environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Strong background in yacht command and operations.
- Experience in charter management and client interactions.
- Familiarity with MYBA charter procedures and broker relations.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
