Summary

We provide our guests with first-class hospitality, personalized service, and memorable culinary adventures. To continue exceeding expectations, we’re searching for an accomplished and passionate Head Chef to lead our onboard culinary team.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Menu Development
  • Design and execute creative menus that showcase a variety of cuisines, seasonal ingredients, and local specialties.
  • Cater to diverse guest preferences, dietary restrictions, and special requests.
  1. Kitchen Leadership
  • Supervise and inspire a small team of kitchen staff, ensuring smooth coordination and a positive work environment.
  • Train and mentor new team members, promoting best practices in culinary preparation and plating.
  1. Quality Control & Food Safety
  • Maintain exceptional standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
  • Enforce strict compliance with HACCP principles and other relevant health and safety regulations.
  1. Inventory Management
  • Manage inventory effectively, ensuring optimal stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and provisioning teams to acquire fresh, high-quality products.
  1. Budgeting & Cost Control
  • Work within budget guidelines to optimize resources without compromising on quality.
  • Track food costs and implement cost-saving measures where appropriate.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in a senior culinary role, ideally as a Head Chef or Executive Chef.
  • Formal Culinary Training: Diploma or degree from a recognized culinary school or equivalent experience.
  • Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership abilities and excellent communication skills to manage, motivate, and guide kitchen staff.
  • Creative & Adaptable: Innovative approach to menu creation; ability to adapt dishes to suit guest preferences and dietary requirements.
  • Organization & Time Management: Capable of prioritizing tasks and working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maritime Experience (Preferred): Experience working on yachts, cruise ships, or other maritime operations is highly desirable, though not mandatory.
