SAILING YACHT FEMALE CHEF (MUST HAVE A SOLID SAILING BACKGROUND ON SAIL YACHTS)
SALARY: DOE - NEGOTIABLE
STARTING MAY 2025 - Adventurous owners of a brand new Oyster 885 handing over in May 2025, are looking for a top class Chef to join their exciting private program for the next few years. Female candidates preferred due to cabin arrangements sharing with the female Mate. Looking to make the placement before March.
Cruising plans for the first couple of years are based between Europe and the Caribbean but they aim to sail in more off the beaten track areas. This owner has previously owned larger motor yachts and is downsizing to be able to enjoy the idea that less is more with a crew who can understand what \\\\\\\'simple perfection\\\\\\\' means. The owners are also looking for hands on fun and adventure and do not just want to be passengers on their yacht.
This boat will run with 4 crew - Captain/Engineer, First Mate, Chef and Deck/Stew. The Captain and Deck/Stew are a couple team.
Living in Hong Kong, the owner has easy access to a great variety of good food and has a passion for cooking so he will be keenly interested in what the Chef can bring to the saloon table. He is looking for absolute quality above unnecessarily fancy cooking practices.
All candidates will be hardworking team players, understand hospitality / customer service and be eager for adventure.
