2nd Officer in Sint Maarten

Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled 2nd Officer to join our dynamic team onboard a private motor yacht. The 2nd Officer will work closely with the Chief Officer and Captain, ensuring the smooth and safe operation of the vessel, we are happy to take a newly qualified candidate with a strong bosun background

Required Qualifications:

• STCW 95 (or STCW 2010) certification with a valid ENG1 medical certificate.
• OOW (Officer of the Watch) certification or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a 2nd Officer.
• Proficiency in navigational and bridge equipment.
• Strong understanding of maritime laws and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Must have a strong work ethic, flexibility, and a positive attitude.

Package :

• Competitive salary, depending on experience.
• 60 days leave / year.

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)
• Drivers License

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• MCA CoC Officer of the Watch <3000gt

Instructor Qualifications

• RYA PWC Instructor (jetski etc)
