Summary
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sole Chef with a positive attitude to temporarily relieve our current chef. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, a passion for cooking, and an impeccable commitment to high hygiene standards. As of today, there are 2 short boss trips planned during this month. This role also involves preparing meals for 8 crew members (including yourself) and ensuring the galley is left in the same pristine condition as when you arrived.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare high-quality meals for the owners and guests, ranging from a simple hot dog to gourmet dinners, adapting to the boss\'s preferences and needs.
- Cook for 8 crew members (including yourself).
- Ensure all hygiene standards are strictly followed, with particular attention to cleanliness and safety in the galley.
- Maintain an organized and efficient kitchen environment.
- Follow meal plans and adapt based on available ingredients or specific dietary requests.
- Ensure that the galley is left spotless.
- Work as part of a small team, ensuring smooth meal services, especially during short boss trips.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sole Chef in the yachting industry.
- Strong culinary skills, with the ability to prepare a wide range of meals, including international cuisines and gourmet dishes.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while collaborating with the crew as needed.
- Good communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances or preferences.
Cabin Arrangement: Crew members will share with the engineer.
