Bosun in Sint Maarten

Summary

Seeking a hands on, experienced Bosun for a private 67m M/Y currently in the Caribbean. We need someone that competent to do a bridge watches on crossings and lead the deck team and make it your own.

 Yacht Master Ocean- preferred

Someone with a few modules towards their OOW would be great. ECDIS is also a bonus

Fluent in English

Chase boat (40ft) driving experience- twin screw Vessel is either towed behind or driven on shorter distances.

Schengen visa ( if applicable) 

Deck team of 5 in total- First Officer, Bosun, Lead Deck and 2 Deckhands

Dual season

Start date: first week of March in St Maarten

Salary $5,000-5250- DOE

Leave 50 days per year

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RYA Yachtmaster Ocean
