Burgess recruitment is currently seeking Deckhand for a 20m+ Chaseboat
We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Chase Boat Deckhand to assist in the smooth operation and maintenance of a support vessel. The ideal candidate will have experience in boat handling, line work, and general deck duties, with a strong focus on safety, teamwork, and attention to detail.
A positive attitude, adaptability, and a passion for the maritime industry are essential for this role.
Requirements
- Yachtmaster Offshore ideally not essential
- AEC a plus
- Ideally experience on a similar sized vessel (20m-30m)
- Must be able to perform navigational watches unsupervised
- Additional languages are advantageous
Responsibilities include assisting with towing operations, refuelling, provisioning, and ensuring the vessel is always maintained in top condition.
Additional duties will be assisting with light engineering duties and interior.
When free the successful candidate will also be required to help out on the mothership (70m).

Location: Med
Salary: EUR 3250 DOE
Leave: 60 Days
All necessary training will be provided upon joining the vessel.
The chosen candidate will have accommodation onboard the Chaseboat.
Meals will usually be onboard the Chaseboat, if next to mothership, meals will be provided by the chefs.
