Summary
We have a wonderful opportunity available for a Head of Housekeeping to join a 70m private explorer vessel.
This position would be ideal for someone with at least 1 year of experience already as a Head of Housekeeping on a similar size vessel, with additional industry experience. Candidates must have proven leadership skills and be able to manage their team efficiently, whilst maintaining calm under pressure.
You will have a fantastic eye for detail, be energetic, motivated and passionate about housekeeping, with excellent organisational abilities.
The yacht has an exciting itinerary planned and will be visiting Cabo, Costa Rica, Artic / North Canada, followed by a shipyard period. In addition to working on the yacht, you will be expected to occasionally assist at the owner's chalet in the French Alps during the winter months.
This role would best suit a candidate with an outgoing, friendly and approachable demeanour, to fit in with the rest of the crew. The crew are all extremely fit and active and enjoy outdoor sports, so someone with similar interests would be preferred.
This position is start at the beginning of April in the US, so candidates must have a B1/B2 in hand.

Required Documents/Certificates: STCW, ENG1 (with at least 3 months remaining), PDSD, Food & Hygiene Level 2, B1B2 in hand (with at least 6 months remaining)
Requirements for application: Previous experience as a Head Housekeeper on a similar sized MY. Good verifiable references, good communicator, longevity in previous positions.
Salary: Starting salary is 4,850 euros
