3rd Engineer in New Zealand

Temp 3rd engineer wanted - 1 month contract.

NZ/Auz resident Candidates only for visa purposes please.

55m M/Y looking for a temp to make up 3 man ER watch. Candidates must be available from 20th March. Vessel departing Auckland, New Zealand and heading up to Asia. Vessel is a 1 yo Northern European Motor Yacht

EOOW preferred but will also consider AEC with proper ER experience. All other certificates (STCW/ENG1 etc) must be valid for contract duration.

Local candidates preferred. Possibly will consider candidates in Auz or close to NZ but not looking further afield.

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RIII/1 Engineer Officer of the Watch (Unlimited)
• MCA Approved Engine Course (AEC 1 & 2) Certificate
• MCA Marine Engine Operator License (Y)
• RIII/3 Y4 Chief Engineer (<200gt <1500kW)/ EOOW III/1 (SV) (<3000gt <9000kW)
• 2nd Engineer III/2 (SV) (<3000gt <9000kW)
