Summary
We are seeking a proactive, hardworking, experienced housekeeper to join our large private residence in Virginia Water, Surrey for a temporary contract from April 2025 - September 2025 (with potential to be extended) whilst our family are in residence. The ideal candidate will have previous experience within yachting or private household and have great initiative to hit the ground running. You would be working as part of a large team of housekeepers and follow the direction from the head housekeeper & senior housekeeper.
The role would be 6 days per week including weekends with 9 hour working days subject to a rota varying from 7AM - 9PM shifts. There is often opportunities for over time. The hourly rate is £20 - £25 PH depending on experience.
The ideal candidate needs to live within a commutable distance to Virginia Water in Surrey and must be able to drive. There may be requirements to attend the family additional property in London in which transport & expenses would be covered.
The start date is Monday 21st April 2025 however we will be flexible for the right candidate if an earlier or later start date is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive housekeeping, including cleaning, laundry, and organising to high standards
- Ensuring the home is well-maintained
- Working closely with the other household staff to provide seamless service
- Laundry, linen and ironing
- Wardrobe management
- Care of delicate items and fine fabrics
- Care of High end furnishings, Antiques and Artwork
- Care of animals
- Occasional support within their additional home in Mayfair, London
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
- Prior experience on a super yacht or within a private household
- Good knowledge of cleaning products and ability to care for high-end furnishings and fabrics
- Fluency in English & the eligibility to work in the UK
- Hardworking and dedicated
