Bosun

Summary

• 50m Busy Private/Charter dual season motor yacht are looking for a Bosun to join them Mid April. They are keen to get interviews underway and secure the right candidate in the coming weeks!

• This is a great program with a close-knit crew of 9 and some excellent longevity across all departments

• They are looking for a Bosun to join their family vibe boat which operates dual seasons in the Med/Caribbean & Bahamas. They run with a mixture of Private and charter usage and will see 4-6 weeks of charter this Summer

• They are looking for someone who has held a lead hand position or Bosun position on similar size yacht and looking to hit the ground running. Lead hands from larger yachts looking to take the step into Bosun will also be considered

• It is essential you hold your YM and are confident with holding a watch as you will be part of the watch keeping team and responsible for a navigational watch when underway – this is very important!

• If you hold some OOW modules this would be advantageous

• The boat is currently stateside but will be heading back to the Med early April ready for a Busy summer season

• B1/B2 would be advantageous but not essential, the boat will assist with an application

• They have a solid training environment and encourage use of the good training budget onboard

• On offer is a salary of 5000 USD – 60 days leave, 13^th month bonus and an even split of tips from charters

• Must be a true non-smoker!

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)
