This 60m+ vessel is currently looking for a strong Chaseboat Captain with a minimum of 3 years yachting experience, please do not apply if you have less. The successful candidate MUST be a very strong tender driver and be able to drive all types. Onboard they have 4 x tenders in the fleet:
2 x 19m Cigarette centre consoles with 6 x Mercury 450r outboards (2700hp)
1 x 16m Nortech centre console with 5 x Mercury 450r outboards (2250hp)
1 x MTI centre console with 5 x Mercury 500 (2500hp)
You must have large HP/Tender experience and be able to be approved by the vessels insurance. Salary will depend on your experience and many other factors, but will be around the $6,000+ mark. The captain has made it clear that the right candidate must be willing to not only lead by example, but be willing to push a chamois and complete all other duties that the rest of your team will be required complete from time to time.
The first couple months will be onboard the big boat as that’s where the accommodation will be, and you will be trained up on the tenders and insurance signs off on them.
The fun part. This is where we need this individual to Captain the 60ft tender throughout the summer in the Med. You will be responsible for all aspects of the tender from Safety, mooring bookings, financials etc from June until September.
