Chief Engineer in France

Summary

We have a 70m+ M/Y looking for a Chief Engineer to join them 1st of June

• Salary €10,000 plus Charter Tips
• Y2 Ticket minimum or equivalent
• To start around June
• Engineering team consists of CE, 2nd and ETO
• 8/8 Rotation
• Private and Charter vessel with equal split of tips
• CRN build
• Looking for a fit and active CE who does not drink too much and definitely does not smoke (No Vaping either please)
• Looking for commitment to the program for a good period of time (3 years plus)
• Vessel has good longevity in all departments
• Team player required. To be able to get along with all crew and really make an effort to fit in
• Looking for someone who is willing to share their knowledge, be hands on with the tools and lead by example
• Experience on larger yachts is beneficial
• Bonuses and pay increases included but not contracted
• Huge single cabin
• Fantastic onboard crew gym (which really highlights the culture onboard)
• Vessel is over 14 years old, but has a healthy budget

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RIII/2 Chief Engineer (Unlimited)/ Class 1
• RIII/2 Y2 Chief Engineer (<3000gt <3000kW)/ Chief Engineer (SV) (<3000gt <9000kW)
• RIII/2 Y1 Chief Engineer (<3000gt <9000kW)/ Chief Engineer (SV) (<3000gt <9000kW)
