Rotational Chief Officer – 100m busy private M/Y
Start date: Mid-May
Itinerary: Caribbean/Med
Package: salary paid in Euros – 182.5 day paid leave (time for time rotation) - attractive package
Skills and Attributes Required:
2-3 years’ experience as chief officer on 80m+ vessels
Ensuring all crew adhere to the Yacht's standing orders and guidelines - overseeing discipline aboard the yacht.
Navigational watch-keeping in accordance with Standing Orders.
Financial management and budgeting of the deck department.
Monitors the overall safety of the Yacht.
Maintains the security of the vessel if there is no additional SSO on board.
Planning and conducting all necessary drills, along-side the 2nd officer / Safety Officer.
Training of all crew in safety and security matters.
Testing and authorizing of crew for tender driving and lifting plant operation.
Scheduling and conducting monthly safety meetings.
To provide or aid efficient and professional service for the Owner and Guests and ensure that all their requirements and expectations are met or exceeded.
Maintenance of all necessary ISM records and reports.
Review of all passage plans set by the Navigational officer.
Training of all deck crew.
Overseeing the maintenance and cleanliness of all exterior spaces and the tender garages.
Organising and posting the deck crew working roster.
Organising and posting of anchor and harbour watch schedules.
Oversees Heliops during all Helicopter operations , delegating to suitably qualified personnel.
Qualifications Required:
Master or Chief mate unlimited
STCW basic and advanced (Fully Updated)
SSO
Seafarer's Medical Certificate valid at least 6 months
Seaman's discharge book
Must be willing to undergo extensive background checks and pre-employment drug test.
