NOW HIRING: SOLO ENGINEER – 35M M/Y

Vessel: 35-Meter Motor Yacht

Location: South Florida | Bahamas | Caribbean

Contract: Seasonal – 6 Months

Start Date: April 1st, 2025

We’re Looking For:

A skilled, hands-on Solo Engineer to take charge of all technical operations aboard a busy private yacht. You’ll be responsible for keeping the vessel running smoothly throughout a tropical itinerary during this season.

Requirements:

• 2–5 years experience in a similar engineering role on motor yachts
• Fluent English speaker
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
• Solid preventative maintenance experience
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Impeccable, verifiable references

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)
• Drivers License

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• MCA Engine Watch Rating Certificate
• MCA Marine Engine Operator License (Y)
• RIII/3 Y4 Chief Engineer (<200gt <1500kW)/ EOOW III/1 (SV) (<3000gt <9000kW)
• RYA Diesel Engine Course
• MCA Approved Engine Course (AEC 1 & 2) Certificate
