My client is seeking a mature, professional, and highly skilled Chef to join their household in Monaco. This is a unique opportunity for a local Chef who enjoys a flexible schedule, with summers off as a guest on board and a few weeks off at Christmas. You will be responsible for preparing exquisite meals in a private setting, with a focus on a well-rounded culinary expertise, particularly in Asian - Japanese, and Chinese cuisines.
Your experience:
- Proven experience as a private Chef or in a similar role within luxury households
- Expertise in Asian, Japanese, and Chinese cuisines, with a creative and adaptable approach to menu planning
- A professional, clean, and tidy approach to kitchen management
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with high-net-worth individuals
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage ad-hoc requests
- Ideally located in or around Monaco
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare daily meals for the residence, focusing on Asian, Japanese, and Chinese dishes
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen
- Be flexible with working hours, adapting to the needs of the household, particularly during the winter months
- Collaborate with the household staff to ensure smooth operations and service
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment and supplies are maintained to a high standard
Location: Monaco
Salary: €7500 (TBC based on experience)
