Summary
We are seeking a capable and passionate Sous/Crew Chef to join our dynamic team on board a 55m private/charter yacht. You’ll work closely with the Head Chef to deliver high-quality, nutritious meals for both guests and crew, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, creativity, and professionalism at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Head Chef in preparing guest meals to a high standard
- Take full responsibility for crew meals (varied, well-balanced, healthy and appealing)
- Maintain excellent hygiene and galley organisation
- Provisioning support and inventory control
- Adapt to dietary requirements and preferences with ease and creativity
- Assist with cleaning and upkeep of the galley
Requirements:
- Previous yachting experience preferred (or strong background in restaurants/hospitality)
- Culinary training or formal chef qualification
- Strong understanding of nutrition and dietary needs
- Able to work efficiently under pressure and independently
- Positive, team-player attitude and good communication skills
- STCW, ENG1, and Food Hygiene Level 2 (or higher)
