Chief Officer/1st Mate

Summary

We are seeking a professional and experienced Chief Mate for a polar operating 77m explorer vessel.

Private & Charter, with a worldwide itinerary, focusing on the Arctic for this summer season.

Joining an established, dynamic British and European team.

Ideally CM(U) but experienced 3000GT licence holders welcome to apply.

Basic Polar Code and experience in Ice/Polar Waters is absolutely mandatory for this role, Advanced PC preferred.

HLO experience, submersible operations, appetite for cold weather advantageous.

Salary to be discussed at interview, 10 week rotation, single cabin etc.

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• Reg II/1 CoC Officer of the Watch (Unlimited)

RYA Qualifications

• RYA Powerboat Level 2
