Coastline Crew is looking for a Yacht Crew Recruiter to join the team on a self employed basis.
We are ideally looking for someone who has experience in crew recruitment and can hit the ground running, previous yachting experience would also be highly beneficial.
Coastline Crew is a new and growing business, we are looking for someone to grow with the company and bring fresh ideas.
This position will be working remotely and therefore candidates worldwide will be considered.
Job description:
You will be responsible for sourcing, vetting, and placing skilled crew members on luxury yachts around the world. You will work closely with yacht owners, captains, and industry professionals to ensure the right fit for each position. Your goal will be to build and maintain a strong network of qualified candidates while offering an exceptional level of service to our clients.
Role and responsibilities:
- Identify and recruit qualified candidates for various yacht positions (e.g., Captain, Chef, Deckhands, Stewardesses, Engineers, etc.).
- Utilize industry-specific job boards, social media, networking, and recruitment platforms to source talent.
- Build a pool of highly skilled, reliable, and experienced yacht crew members.
- Conduct thorough interviews and assessments to ensure candidates meet the required qualifications and standards for luxury yachts.
- Verify certifications, references, and previous employment experience.
- Match the crew member's skills and experience to the specific needs of yacht owners.
- Communicate effectively with yacht owners, captains, and other stakeholders to understand their staffing needs.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and work to resolve any issues related to crew performance or placement.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of yacht industry standards, roles, and certifications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with recruitment tools, databases, and social media platforms.
