American Mate/Deckhand for 98’ US Flagged Program
**St Thomas based cruising USVI and BVIs**
Qualifications:
-US Passport or Green card holders ONLY
-Valid STCW, ENG1
-Min USCG 100 ton
- ENGLISH as first language
-MALE only due to cabin arrangements
-2-3 years min experience on deck ** must be able to work independent
-Tender Driving Experience a MUST—tows a 35’ center console and has 18’ rib
**Experience taking 35ft CC in and out of tow ** NO EXCEPTIONS**
-PADI Diver Cert
-Fishing and Diving skills
****Boss likes to dive—vessel has great setup****
-Engineering/mechanical skills required
*Ideal candidate is a TRUE TEAM PLAYER * Someone aware of their surroundings*
*Willing to take and pass a drug test* GREAT references a MUST!!
Compensation:
$5,000-6,500 month
Benefits are possible
Vessel will run daily with Captain and Mate
3 crew total with guests on—stew/cook will join for guest trips
**Will be going into shipyard in Puerto Rico for a month**
