Summary
We are looking for a Head Chef on a busy 48m Charter Yacht ASAP to start on between 31.03 and 03.04.2025 in SOF
Sesaonal for now, but can be permanent with a "winter deal"
Charters will start in May and finish most likely in October - no owners use. The Yacht has a crew of 9 in total and a capacity of 10 guests.
We are looking for someone with Sole Chef Charter experience or heavy owners use as or someone that has been a Sous chef on busy larger yachts and would like to step up.
Main duties:
- Preparing meals for Crew and guests ( off charter: breakfast, lunch and dinner for crew - on charter: lunch and dinner for crew only)
- Provisioning (yourself and in season using agents and/or provisioners)
- Maintaining the galley in excellent condition
Requirements:
- experience on charter yachts or busy large yachts as Sous chef
- good communication skills as you will need to interact with guests on a daily bases
- excellent appearance
- Food portfolio for charter presentation on hand
- Excellent English communication skills
- valid certification
- Social player as crew bonding is important
- low alcohol consumption and willing to take a drug test
