Chief Engineer for 50m High-Performance, Jet Drive Commercial Yacht

We are looking for an experienced Chief Engineer (Minimum 3000kW CoC) for a permanent position aboard a 50m high-performance Jet Drive commercial yacht.

Key Details:

Engines: MTU main engines, Kohler generators

Propulsion: Kamewa water jets (Knowledge is a plus)

Engine Room: Spacious, well-organized, and practical for maintenance

Automation: Modern and efficient systems

Crew Structure: Chief Engineer + Deck Engineer

Upcoming Yard Period: Short shipyard period in Italy

Requirements:

Valid STCW and ENG1

Chief Engineer CoC (Minimum 3000kW)

Experience with MTU engines and Kohler generators

Jet propulsion experience is a big plus

Network and IT knowledge is plus.

Hands-on, proactive approach with the ability to work efficiently in a small team, happy to be all rounder when needed.

Good references.

Offer:

Permanent position

7000 Euros salary, 3,2 days paid leave per moth worked.

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RIII/3 Y3 Chief Engineer (<500gt <3000kW)/ Chief Engineer (SV) (<500gt 3000kW)
• RIII/2 Y2 Chief Engineer (<3000gt <3000kW)/ Chief Engineer (SV) (<3000gt <9000kW)
• RIII/2 Y1 Chief Engineer (<3000gt <9000kW)/ Chief Engineer (SV) (<3000gt <9000kW)
