Summary
I am looking for a seasonal chef to join a 37m Expedition style vessel with a heavy water sports program based in Pacific coast Mexico.
Cooking should be fresh, healthy, wholesome, Californian and as well a lot of authentic local Mexican style cooking. Mostly Gluten free.
Owners are not interested in regular Haute cuisine. They are very active people and want to eat healthy but filling meals in-between their activities. They generally do not want the meals to take over their day however from time to time will want something extra special when chef is feeling inspired or for a special event.
Ideal candidate would them selves be active, a team player willing to help with operations from time to time and enjoy being in Mexico. The primary purpose is for owners to surf off the boat so a chef who surfs or at least has some interest in it would be great to create a bond with owners and understand their needs more.
Must have basic certs and B1B2 in hand.
