Summary
A 35m Private/ Charter Motor Yacht is seeking an experienced Sole Engineer to join their crew. The vessel has a busy season ahead with Private and Charter trips booked along the East coast of Australia.
POSITION: Sole Engineer
LOCATION: Gold Coast
START DATE: As soon as possible
QUALIFICATIONS: STCW, Seafarer's medical (ENG1 or equivalent), Minimum of a MED 2 or equivalent with experience on similar size vessels
ITINERARY: Australia & South Pacific
SALARY: AUD, DOE
CONTRACT: Full-Time / Live aboard
REQUIREMENTS:
· 1-3 years of industry experience in a similar role on yachts of similar size
· Strong technical knowledge
· Good understanding of troubleshooting
· Hardworking, adaptable, and dependable
· Team player with a positive, can-do attitude who is happy to be hands-on
· Good maintenance skills with a solid understanding of spares and preventative schedules
· Fantastic references to support previous experience
