Summary
Burgess recruitment is urgently seeking an experienced Deckhand for a 50m+ yacht
You will be responsible for maintaining the exterior of the yacht to the highest standards, assisting with docking and undocking procedures, tender operations, and ensuring the overall safety and security of the vessel. You will work closely with a professional and dynamic crew, where teamwork and communication are key.
Requirements + Responsibilities
- Yacht Rating or Navigational Yacht Rating certification required
- PWC instructor cert
- Minimum 2 seasons’ experience on similar sized vessels
- Mature and able to lead another deckhand
- Exterior maintenance, including cleaning, polishing, and detailing
- Assisting with mooring, anchoring, and watch duties
- Proactive mindset
- Great product knowledge
- Charter experience is a plus
Start date: ASAP
Location: Malta
Salary: EUR 3500 +tips
Leave: 42 days
Vessel & itinerary – Malta based vessel, single season. Private & charter vessel.
