Summary
Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a 2nd Steward(ess) for a 60m+ yacht.
We are seeking an experienced and well-seasoned second steward(ess) to join a charter/private vessel.
Requirements:
- Around 4 years’ experience in the yachting industry
- All certs up to date STCW, ENG1 F&HL2, PDSD
- Strong service experience with excellent cocktail making skills
- Proactive and positive mindset
- Works well under pressure
- Well organised & computer literate for admin tasks
- Team player and nice natured
- Charter experience huge benefit
Advantageous:
- B1B2 visa
- Any surplus qualifications relevant to a 2nd stew role, including higher learning training in service
Start date: Ideally April, but can wait until May for the right candidate
Location: SoF
Salary: EUR DOE + tips
Leave: 45 days/yr – increasing to 60 after first 12 months
Full medical insurance, 1 annual flight increasing to 2 after first 12 months.
Vessel & itinerary: Dual season, with a focus on charter and some private use. Currently in the shipyard, late med season planned before crossing to Caribbean/USA for winter.
