This 100m+ MY vessel is currently looking for a solid Deckhand/Security crew member to join them onboard at the beginning of May. The successful candidate will have a military background as well as at least 2 years yachting experience behind them already on a similar sized vessel. You main duties when guests are onboard will be as security. You will make sure that the vessel is secure at all times and that there is no risk for the owners what so ever. You will also train the rest of the crew onboard in small groups at a time, to make them fully aware of the risks and what to look out for and report. The owners bring their own drivers, so you will mainly be chaperoning them when they decide to go ashore at any point. When the guests are not onboard your duties will still be as security, but you will also be outside on deck with the rest of the deck team in a more relaxed environment. The salary on offer is negotiable, but in order to get the higher end you must fit the full description and have a proven track record on previous yachts which your references will also back up.
