About Us:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Captain to join the crew of our luxury 58-meter sailing yacht. The vessel is designed for both comfort and performance, catering to an exclusive clientele who appreciate the art of sailing and the luxury lifestyle. We are looking for a professional leader who can oversee the daily operations of the yacht and ensure a safe, seamless, and enjoyable experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Management: Oversee all operations on board the yacht, including managing a crew of deckhands, engineers, and hospitality staff.
  • Navigation & Safety: Ensure the safety and efficiency of all voyages, including route planning, weather assessment, and safe docking.
  • Guest Experience: Deliver exceptional service for guests, anticipating their needs and ensuring the yacht is well-maintained and fully equipped.
  • Maintenance & Operations: Supervise the maintenance of the yacht, working with engineers and technical crew to ensure all systems are functioning to the highest standards.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Maintain all necessary maritime certifications and paperwork, ensuring the yacht adheres to international maritime laws and regulations.
  • Crew Training & Development: Provide ongoing training and development for the crew, fostering teamwork, professionalism, and a high standard of service.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Yacht Master 3000GT Certification (or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Captain on yachts of similar size or larger and commercial.
  • Strong knowledge of navigation, weather patterns, and maritime safety procedures.
  • Experience with luxury vessels, and understanding of high-end guest services and privacy expectations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).
  • Valid STCW (Standards of Training, Certification, and Watchkeeping) and medical certificates.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

STCW Modules (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)
  • Proficiency in Medical Care
  • Electronic Chart Display (ECDIS)
  • Advanced Fire Fighting (A-VI/3)
  • Proficiency in Medical First Aid (A-VI/4 1-3)
