Temporary Chief Engineer with the potential to turn Rotational for the right candidate!

A private 55m yacht is looking for a temporary Chief Engineer to join their team cruising the South Pacific!

YOU MUST BE A TEAM PLAYER WITH THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

• Drama free, professional and levelheaded.
• Organised and efficient managing a 2nd engineer.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• AMSA Class 3 or Y2 Engineer qualifications
• STCW and ENG1 or AMSA Medical

Itinerary: South Pacific

Start Date: 1st of May for a period of 10 weeks.

Potential to turn to rotational for the right person!

Salary: Good AUD salary package on offer.

Preference will be given to Australian and New Zealand local candidates.

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RIII/2 Y2 Chief Engineer (<3000gt <3000kW)/ Chief Engineer (SV) (<3000gt <9000kW)
