Looking for summer seasonal 2nd Stew to start early May
American passport holders able to travel into Canada (no past DUI’s), male or female as they have plenty of shared cabin arrangement options, no smokers or vaping, tattoos okay, non-drinking crew during extended summer cruise.
Itinerary - some day/weekend trips in June before departing with guests onboard for all of July and August and then limited events in September. Elderly clients focusing on relaxing onboard over excursions with a set routine allowing for a healthy work/rest balance for crew of 7-8.
Salary DOE along with competitive health insurance covered by vessel (dental & vision available at extra crew cost). Dog and cat onboard so no pet allergies.
Based in Seattle for May and June, traveling the Washington San Juan’s through BC and Alaska during July/August, and back in Seattle for September.
The ideal candidate is past the party stage of yachting, will enjoy the cooler early summer temperatures of Seattle having the option to explore the area before/after trips during down time, and excited to cruise BC and Alaska with guests onboard. Current crew all have a healthy mindset, outdoorsy, enjoy yoga/running/biking/winter snow sports, minimal drinking/parting, and fulltime crew have homes in the area so are often at home during time off.
Great position for someone happy and bubbly with experience as a Second Stew similarly/slightly smaller sized or Third Stew on same/larger sized vessels. Second Stew will work closely with our Chief Stew doing meal services, beds and heads, laundry, along with table decorations and minor drink service. Prior laundry knowledge a huge plus and being in shape/fit is required as we are a four-level vessel so stairs are a must.
