Summary
We are seeking a Captain to take command of a newly launched private motor yacht based in the USA/Bahamas. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and motivated individual ready to step into their first drive and lead an active, professional team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overall management of the vessel, crew and guest experience
- Navigational planning and safe vessel operations
- Overseeing all compliance, maintenance and regulatory requirements
- Leading and developing a positive, team-focused onboard culture
- Liaising with management and owners to ensure smooth running of the program
- Ensuring the vessel is maintained to the highest of standards
Requirements:
- MCA Master 500GT or equivalent
- Previous experience as Captain or Chief Officer on similar sized yachts
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Hands-on approach with excellent crew management abilities
- Familiarity with cruising in the USA/Bahamas region
Additional Information:
- 60 days paid leave
- 6 crew in total, accommodating up to 12 guests
