Summary
We are looking for an experienced Deckhand with 2-3 years’ serving as such on a 60m+ MY, who is well-rounded, driven, and positive, for a prestigious and highly reputable 100m+ Private MY.
Our Deckhand must have a Yacht master in hand and preferably a few of the OOW modules.
Our ideal candidate is organized and ambitious, wanting to learn and develop, a great communicator, switched on and observant, detail oriented and willing to exceed guest expectations. A down-to-earth, level-headed candidate, full of energy and with a great sense of humour.
Strong tender driving experience, preferable on larger tenders is essential and a keen interest for sports, such as wakeboarding, kiteboarding, surfing, running, cycling or other additional skills is an advantage.
This is a continual / annual season MY with experienced and adventurous owner, happy to take his yacht off the beaten track but also equally happy to dock in big cities that allows exploration, so this role is not for the faint hearted, we need a hardworking, positive, friendly and enthusiastic candidate that loves to create and provide great experiences for the owner and his guests.
Many of the crew onboard has worked for the owner for a long time, so crew retention is HIGH...
This role would best suit a candidate who is ambitious, with a long-term goal in his yachting career, this yacht welcome career progression and encourages crewmembers to study and develop. A candidate who wants to join a professionally run yacht traveling to some amazing destinations.
The owning family are interactive with the crew so this role suits someone who is social but always being professional, an easy-going, friendly, and enthusiastic candidate that works hard with a smile on his face, willing to learn from highly experienced and professional team members.

Required Documents/Certificates: YM, STCW, ENG1, PDSD, a couple of OOW modules and additional certificates are a bonus.
Requirements for application: 2-3 years’ experience as a Deckhand, good verifiable references are a must, large tender driving experience, a true No-Smoker/ NO-Vaping
Salary: 3,500 + Euros DOE

The HOD's have a strong focus on crew wellbeing and mental health, ample time off given to crew when onboard, and great crew facilities and a large crew gym.

Discretionary training budgets and bonuses are also open for crew.
