Deckhand/Mate in Spain

Summary

Will consider a Mate & Chief Stew Couple:

Private & Charter, dual season, Med and Caribbean 45m performance sloop.

Itinerary for summer 2025 includes Palma and cruising in Greece and the Adriatic. The 25/26 winter season will be in the Caribbean with 2 possible regattas.

Requirements:

Mate -

Minimum - YM offshore, ideally YM ocean or OOW preferred

Diving experience preferred, diving rescue ideal

Experience of in-boom furling

Watch leader experience

Independent work list leader.

60 days annual leave. Negotiable after 12 months. 

Stewardess-

Experience on similar sized vessels as Sole or Chief Stewardess

Comfortable and experienced at managing junior interior crew and independently creating joblist’s and inventories. 

Experience with regattas. 

Food hygiene level 2

Salary – EUR 6000+ NEG DOE

60 days annual leave - Negotiable after 12 months

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RYA Yachtmaster Offshore
