· Extensive charter experience is essential—must be confident in adapting to a wide range of guest preferences and dietary requirements at short notice.
· A strong team player who thrives within an established galley structure alongside a Sous Chef and Crew Chef.
· Mentorship-oriented—keen to train and support junior team members, raising the overall culinary standard of the galley.
· Guest-facing confidence—comfortable engaging directly with guests, whether in the galley or during occasional table service.

· Pastry and baking expertise is a significant advantage.
· Deep understanding of nutrition and special dietary needs (gluten-free, vegan, keto, etc.).

· Familiarity with galley systems and software, including inventory management tools like IDEA and provisioning platforms.
