Executive Chef – Private 85’ Yacht | BC & Alaska Coastline | Summer Contract
Position Type: Seasonal Contract (June – September)
Location: British Columbia & Alaska Coastline
Schedule: 4 weeks on / 1 week off
Compensation: $450–$500 per day
Start Date: Early June 2025
We are looking for an experienced and adventurous Executive Chef to join a private 85’ yacht for an unforgettable summer journey along the stunning coasts of British Columbia and Alaska.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled culinary professional who thrives in intimate, high-end settings and values the chance to explore the outdoors in their downtime. When not preparing world-class meals, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy hiking, fishing, and exploring some of the most scenic, remote coastal areas.
Responsibilities:
· Plan and prepare high-end, seasonal menus tailored to guest preferences and dietary requirements
· Provision and source ingredients while in port, with a focus on fresh and local products
· Prepare meals for up to 10 guests plus crew
· Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient galley, working independently
· Adapt to flexible schedules based on guest presence and port stops
Requirements:
· Previous experience as a chef on private yachts, luxury lodges, or in fine dining establishments is required
· Strong understanding of elevated cuisine and ability to cater to diverse preferences
· Comfortable provisioning in remote coastal towns and managing a solo galley
· Professional, personable, and able to thrive in a close-knit onboard environment
· Interest in outdoor adventure and coastal exploration a plus
