We’re now looking for a highly motivated and proactive Operational Superintendent to join our team. This role requires more than experience — it demands initiative, ownership, and the drive to go above and beyond for our clients and fleet.
About the Role
As Operational Superintendent, you will report to the Head of Operations and work collaboratively with our team of technical and departmental specialists. You will take full operational ownership of a portfolio of yachts, acting as the key liaison between client representatives, crew, and our internal departments. This is a full-time, office-based position in Dubai; however, remote candidates may also be considered if they meet the profile.
This role is ideal for someone with strong sea-going experience who is now looking to push their career further within a dynamic and demanding management environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead operational oversight of a defined fleet of managed vessels;
- Be the main point of contact for Captains and crew, ensuring smooth day-to-day running;
- Budget development and control, invoice review, and ensuring compliance with internal systems;
- Prepare and lead regualr management meetings and produce detailed vessel inspection reports;
- Monitor and ensure compliance with Class, Flag, ISM, ISPS, and relevant regulations;
- Oversee setup and implementation of onboard management systems and documentation;
- Collaborate with technical team to support planned maintenance and refit schedules;
- Manage crew recruitment, appraisals, and training development;
- Support claims handling and coordinate yacht/crew insurance matters;
- Be ready and able to travel internationally at short notice.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of sea-going experience in a senior position (Captain, Chief Officer, or similar);
- Prior yacht management experience is preferred but can be developed;
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a service-driven mindset;
- Proven ability to manage complex operations and juggle competing priorities;
- Professional written and verbal communication skills in English;
- Strong IT proficiency and familiarity with management and reporting software;
