Summary

Busy private 55m Motor Yacht cruising Southeast Asia is looking for experienced Y1 minimum 5 years as Chief Engineer on similar size yacht.

We are looking for hands on leadership style, organized person, confident with preemptive routine maintenance, and used to troubleshooting every on-board system without external service support, capable to manage a team of 3.

Candidate shall be confident with: Caterpillar Main Engines, Kohler Diesel Generators, Quantum stabilizers, Afa Laval, Evac vacuum system, hydraulic systems, Air Conditioning, 110V/60Hz electric system troubleshooting, A-Sea Shore Power converters, Crestron, Apple TV, Kerio, Star Link.

Inventories, check lists, E.R. internal logs, official logbooks and manuals archive management with regular updates.

ISM, ISPS codes.

E.R. cleanliness and organization are mandatory skills.

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)
• Drivers License

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RIII/2 Y2 Chief Engineer (<3000gt <3000kW)/ Chief Engineer (SV) (<3000gt <9000kW)
