We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Cook/Housekeeper to support the Principal in the smooth and efficient running of their private residence. This is a dynamic and hands-on role that places a strong emphasis on high-quality, health-conscious cooking alongside traditional housekeeping duties.
The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years’ experience working in private households, luxury hospitality setting or onboard super yachts, with a passion for food and wellness. A culinary qualification or cooking course certificate would be highly advantageous. You must be fluent in English, discreet, professional, and presentable at all times.
Cooking is a core part of this role, with the successful candidate expected to confidently prepare nutritious, flavourful meals in accordance with structured meal plans and recipes developed by a nutritionist. Responsibilities will include meal preparation, grocery shopping, managing food deliveries, maintaining kitchen hygiene, and providing table service and beverage preparation.
In addition to culinary duties, this position will include housekeeping tasks such as an evening turn-down service, maintaining household manuals, managing a daily cleaner and ensuring the home is always guest-ready in cleanliness, lighting, and ambiance.
You will also be responsible for wardrobe management, including packing/unpacking and liaising with dry cleaners. Laundry and bed linen will be handled off-site, and it will be your responsibility to coordinate and manage these services. Strong administrative and communication skills are essential, as the role includes coordinating household schedules, vendors, deliveries, and liaising with the building concierge. Familiarity with household technology and relevant apps is a must.
Applicants must have impeccable references, a clean enhanced DBS check or be willing to obtain one, as well as the legal right to work in the UK. A driver’s license and access to a vehicle is preferred.
This is a full-time, live-out position working Monday to Friday from 9:00/10:00am to 6:00/7:00pm.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
· Prior experience in a similar role or onboard superyachts
· Fluency in English, both spoken and written
· Strong cooking skills with a focus on health and wellness
· Understanding of structured meal planning
· Culinary qualification or cookery course certificate (preferred but not essential)
· High standard of housekeeping and attention to detail
· Strong administrative and communication skills
· Flexibility with hours and duties
· Trustworthy and reliable
· Discreet, professional and presentable
· Valid passport with the right to live and work in the UK
