Concept Designer (creative)
Salary : EUR 2500 to EUR 3000 Per Month
The concept designer works closely with the Project Manager to visualise the project by creating 2D and 3D CAD designs. Communication skills are crucial in this role. Individuals are required to work with a range of teams that range from engineers, subcontractors to architects. They are required to understand the brief from various departments, understand the practicality and then produce a suitable design. It is not uncommon for teething issues to be discovered during the yacht production and the need to revisit the design. Therefore Concept designers have to confidently be able to think off their feet and adapt the design to the new brief.
Qualifications, training and skills required
- Degree in Yacht or Transport Design
- 3+ years experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of CAD software, Indesign, Photoshop and MS Office Suite
- Attention to detail
