Technical Manager
Salary : EUR 5000 to EUR 8000 Per Month
The technical manager is responsible for the technical aspects of one yacht and reports to the fleet manager. They are responsible for producing reports to evaluate the yacht's performance. This includes carrying out inspections relating to fuel consumption, maintenance and repair work. They work with compliance teams to ensure that the yacht operates to an acceptable and agreed standard. In the event of a new build, technical managers oversee all technical operations; and ensure successful and timely delivery. Due to having to deal with external agencies/ contractors communication is key.
Qualifications, training and skills required
- Degree in Marine Engineering or equivalent
- Experience in a similar role
- Proven record of delivering projects successfully
