Chief Steward(ess)
Salary : EUR 4500 to EUR 10000+ Per Month
The Chief Stewardess manages the interior team. In this role you will be responsible the management and implementing of interior maintenance and repairs. Arranging rotas for service and housekeeping, project management. Be well versed in Service, Laundry and Housekeeping procedures. Execute guest entertainment, themed nights and events.
Direct contact with guests, liaising with them as to their meal and drink requirements as well as their desired daily activities. Provisioning for guest supplies, responsible for protecting and caring for valuable items such as artwork, marble, china, and crystal. Account and budgeting for the department, responsible for all interior inventories, crew uniform management and ordering. Directing, motivating and training of the interior team.
Qualifications, training and skills required
- Several years industry experience
- Management and Leadership skills
- Ability to delegate
- Excellent service and housekeeping skills
- Vast wine, spirits and cigar knowledge
- Understanding of the cruising areas and activities available.
- Knowledge of flower arranging and plant care
- Strong computer and administrative skills
